Arsenal Seal 14th Premier League Title After Manchester City Draw at Bournemouth

Arsenal F.C. have been crowned Premier League champions for the 14th time after title rivals Manchester City F.C. were held to a 1–1 draw by Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday night.

The result confirmed Arsenal’s triumph, with Mikel Arteta’s side reaching 82 points with one match remaining, a total that cannot be surpassed by City, who sit on 78 points.

Manchester City went into the match needing victory to keep their title hopes alive, but were stunned when Bournemouth took the lead just before halftime through Junior Kroupi, who finished calmly to send the home fans into celebration.

City increased pressure in the second half, pushing forward in search of an equaliser as their title defence slipped away. Their persistence eventually paid off deep into stoppage time when Erling Haaland struck a late leveller, but the goal came too late to change the destination of the Premier League crown.

Despite conceding late, Bournemouth achieved a historic milestone of their own by securing qualification for European competition for the first time in the club’s history, capping off a standout season underlining their rapid rise in English football.

For Arsenal, the title marks the culmination of a season defined by consistency, defensive discipline and key victories in tightly contested fixtures. Under manager Mikel Arteta, the Gunners maintained their position at the top during a demanding campaign that saw them fend off sustained pressure from City and other challengers.

The triumph ends Arsenal’s long wait for another league crown and reinforces their return as a dominant force in English football, adding a new chapter to the club’s storied legacy.
