Nigerian music superstar Burna Boy is reportedly adding an extraordinary Bugatti Chiron to his already impressive collection of luxury cars.
The Grammy-winning singer, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, is said to be behind a bespoke project described by Dubai-based luxury car customisation company Venuum Black as the world’s first widebody Bugatti Chiron.
A Bugatti like no other
Venuum Black announced that it was developing a unique carbon-fibre widebody kit for the Chiron, describing the project as a one-of-one creation designed specifically for a high-profile member of its global clientele.
The company shared a video featuring Burna Boy alongside members of its team and teased the vehicle as a completely new interpretation of the Bugatti Chiron.
The project could also make the car the first Bugatti Chiron of its kind in Nigeria.
Burna Boy wanted something ‘one of one’
The singer had previously hinted at his plans for the custom supercar on social media.
Burna Boy reportedly said he wanted a one-of-one Bugatti Venuum Chiron, complete with diamond details on the vehicle and its key holder.
The remarks fueled speculation about the scale and extravagance of the planned modification.
How much is Burna Boy’s Bugatti worth?
The reported price of the car has sparked confusion online.
Abuja-based car dealer @abujacar initially estimated the customised Bugatti at about ₦2 billion, before later changing the figure to ₦9 billion without providing an explanation for the revision.
Standard Bugatti Chiron models can cost several million dollars, with the final price depending heavily on the specific variant, rarity and customisation.
Neither Burna Boy nor Venuum has officially confirmed that the vehicle cost ₦9 billion.
There is also no official footage confirming that the singer has taken delivery of the finished car.
Another exotic addition to his garage
The reported Bugatti would join several high-end vehicles linked to Burna Boy, including a Lamborghini Revuelto and Rolls-Royce Spectre.
If the Venuum project is completed as advertised, its unique widebody design could make it one of the most distinctive Bugatti Chirons in the world.
Fans are now waiting for the official unveiling to see the finished machine and find out whether the much-talked-about ₦9 billion price tag is accurate.
