The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Akwa Ibom has begun free safety checks for all vehicles across the state. Sector Commander Mr. Francis Ajatta said the initiative allows the corps to engage motorists while reinforcing its commitment to road safety.
Ajatta explained that the checks are part of proactive efforts to reduce road traffic crashes. Vehicle owners are encouraged to present their vehicles for inspection on the road or at FRSC offices within the designated period.
He also urged road users to stay vigilant, observe traffic rules, and report incidents promptly via the FRSC toll-free line.
