Business leaders from across the continent will gather in Abuja as The Papyrus Global announces the 11 countries participating in the 9th edition of the Global Distinguished CEOs Awards (GLODICEA).
The participating countries are Nigeria, Ghana, The Gambia, Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, Rwanda, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
Themed “Industries of Impact: Leadership Powering Africa’s Transformation,” the 2026 edition will spotlight leaders whose work reflects innovation, enterprise development, economic contribution, job creation and technological advancement.
According to The Papyrus Global, GLODICEA goes beyond an awards ceremony. It is a continental meeting point where CEOs, founders, investors, executives, policymakers, diplomats and government representatives can connect, exchange ideas and explore collaboration.
Honourees will come from sectors including technology, manufacturing, finance, agriculture, energy, infrastructure, healthcare, education, logistics, mining and consumer industries. Selected recipients will also be featured in the Global Distinguished CEOs Compendium, a record of the leaders and enterprises recognised in this edition.
The awards follow the philosophy of the Organisation “Appreciate • Point • Encourage”: appreciating existing achievements, drawing attention to leadership practices, and encouraging continued excellence.
The event will close with the presentation of the Global Distinguished CEOs Awards across various categories.
Where would you rather be than in a room where the future of the continent and its present meet?
