Ahead of the official commencement of Christmas Unplugged 3.0, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, on Friday November 28th conducted an on-site inspection of the Christmas Village at Unity Park, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, to assess the level of preparedness for the annual 32-day holiday fiesta.

Governor Eno who walked through the major sections of the grounds including performance zones, vendor stations, security points, and hospitality booths commended the event planners and technical crews for their dedication to creating a safe, vibrant, and memorable experience for residents and visitors.

The Governor said the Christmas Village has become one of the State’s strongest cultural and entertainment assets, contributing to tourism, small business growth, and seasonal hospitality revenue. He assured that his administration will continue to support initiatives that promote economic activity, unity, and joyful communal celebration.

The 2025 edition of Christmas Unplugged is expected to attract thousands of visitors, showcase local creative talent, promote food and craft vendors, and host multiple high-profile performances throughout December.
