The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his commitment to the equitable distribution of developmental projects across the state’s three senatorial districts. In a statement released on Monday, the agency highlighted that the Governor’s “bottom-up” approach to governance has led to a visible “spread” of essential projects, including rural water schemes, health center renovations, and community road rehabilitations.
The agency’s leadership noted that the Governor’s funding and support for the CSDA have empowered local communities to take ownership of their development. By prioritizing projects based on direct community needs, the Ododo administration is credited with reaching underserved rural areas that had previously felt neglected. The CSDA emphasized that this inclusive strategy is playing a crucial role in poverty reduction and improving the standard of living for grassroots residents, further solidifying the Governor’s popularity within the state’s rural constituencies.
