There is a popular saying that if an event promises to be fun, you will begin to feel it days before the main occasion. This best describes the build-up to the 3rd Edition of the Papyrus Magazine State Houses of Assembly Awards (PAMSHAA 2025).
Earlier today, the Founder of Papyrus Global, Hon. Chief Doofan Damsa-Justin, had the honour of meeting with the Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Hon. Tukur Bala Bodinga alongside some of the 2025 award recipients, during a conference in Abuja.
The Speaker expressed his admiration for the Award’s transparent selection process and applauded the calibre of nominees. According to him, if given the responsibility of making selections in the same categories, he doubted he could have done a better job than the Papyrus Global team. He further commended the team for shining a light on legislative excellence in Nigeria, noting that such recognition will inspire lawmakers to achieve more.
He assured the team of his attendance, along with colleagues who emerged as winners across various categories, at the grand event scheduled for August 30, 2025, in Abuja.
In her response, Hon. Chief Doofan Damsa-Justin expressed deep appreciation to the Speaker for granting her and her team the rare privilege of an audience. She also extended gratitude to the Clerk Mr. Mustapha Sidi Attahiru, Majority Leader, Muh’d Bello Idris and 
for coordinating the engagement.
The Papyrus team further used the opportunity to thank all State Houses of Assembly Clerks and Management staff for their unwavering support since the verification exercise commenced over three months ago. She assured them of the continued credibility and integrity of the PAMSHA Awards.
