Jonathan:Why I did not implement 2014 National Confab Report

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has explained why his administration did not implement the recommendations from the 2014 National Conference, citing political instability at the time.
Speaking during a condolence visit to the family of the late Afenifere leader, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Jonathan acknowledged that while many Nigerians have questioned his decision, the political climate was too volatile to introduce such a critical document. He pointed out that a key member of his party had defected and actively worked against him, making it impossible to push through the report.
Jonathan, alongside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, paid tribute to Adebanjo, describing him as a courageous leader committed to truth and justice. Their visit was attended by prominent political figures, including former Sierra Leonean President Ernest Bai Koroma and PDP chieftains such as Chief Bode George and Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran.
