The youth wing of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has given FCT Minister Nyesom Wike 48 hours to retract his controversial remarks against Ijaw leaders and the group.
National President Doben Donyegha condemned Wike’s statements as “embarrassing and unacceptable,” especially coming just after PANDEF leaders met with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.
The youth wing also called on Tinubu to sack Wike from his cabinet, stating that they no longer had confidence in his leadership. Additionally, they urged the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) to investigate Wike over allegations of land grabbing in the FCT.
