Councillors from all 287 wards across Jigawa State have declared their full support for Governor Umar Namadi’s second-term ambition, passing a vote of confidence during a Sallah homage visit to the Government House in Dutse.
Speaking at the event, Governor Namadi urged the councillors to uphold integrity, prioritize community needs, and act as true representatives of the grassroots. He reminded them that they are the closest officials to the people and must therefore serve with compassion and accountability.
He pledged continued support for their efforts and emphasized that his administration remains focused on infrastructural development, rural transformation, and economic empowerment across all wards.
