UBA SANI OUTLINES TRIO OF DEVELOPMENT PRIORITIES FOR NORTHERN NIGERIA

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has reiterated his administration’s commitment to basic education, infrastructure, and power generation as the three foundational pillars needed to unlock the North’s full developmental potential.
Speaking during a courtesy visit by the North West Development Commission (NWDC) to the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House in Kaduna, the governor said investing in these areas would directly confront the region’s biggest challenges: poverty, unemployment, insecurity, and stagnation.
“By addressing these core areas, we aim to confront broader challenges such as poverty, unemployment, insecurity, and economic stagnation,” he said in a post shared via his verified Facebook page.
He commended the NWDC board, led by Chairman Hon. Lawal Samaila Yakawada, for their commitment to regional transformation and assured them of Kaduna’s full cooperation.
“This partnership represents a critical step toward coordinated development. We must ensure that every initiative impacts the lives of our people meaningfully,” he said.
The engagement signals renewed urgency among northern leaders to pursue inclusive development and shift from crisis management to long-term socio-economic recovery.
