ADC SAYS POLITICS BLINDING TINUBU TO INSECURITY ACROSS NIGERIA

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused President Bola Tinubu of neglecting the escalating insecurity in different parts of Nigeria due to what it described as excessive focus on political maneuvering.

In a statement issued on Sunday October 5th, the ADC leadership said rising cases of banditry, kidnappings, and insurgent activities across the country have left communities vulnerable, yet the federal government appears more preoccupied with consolidating power ahead of the 2027 elections. The party maintained that President Tinubu’s administration is “losing touch with the realities on the ground” and failing to prioritize the safety of citizens.

The ADC further called on the government to redirect attention to critical national issues, particularly security and economic hardship, warning that failure to act decisively could worsen the plight of Nigerians. The party pledged that it would continue to speak up for ordinary citizens until tangible improvements are made.
