The All Progressives Congress (APC) has cautioned Nigerians against allowing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to regain power, describing it as a party plagued by disarray and leadership battles.
Bala Ibrahim, the APC’s National Publicity Director, stated that Nigeria is still reeling from the PDP’s “16-year misrule.” He asserted that the opposition party lacks the competence to manage its own affairs, let alone govern the nation effectively.
“The PDP is in disarray, and Nigerians should be grateful they were voted out. The APC remains committed to progressive governance,” Ibrahim said. He dismissed allegations that the ruling party was behind the PDP’s challenges.
PDP leaders from the North East recently convened in Bauchi to discuss reconciliation and strategies for the 2027 elections. Governors Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Agbu Kefas (Taraba), and Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa) were present, but former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was notably absent.
