Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume (Borno South) has issued a stark call to the federal government to bring back Brigadier-General Musa Uba, commander of Nigeria’s 25 Brigade, “dead or alive,” and accelerate efforts to rescue 25 girls kidnapped from the Government Girls Comprehensive School in Maga, Kebbi State.
Ndume alleged that General Uba was captured following a fierce engagement with terrorists and insisted that his return, combined with a successful rescue operation, would bring solace to the traumatized families of the abducted girls.
The Senator highlighted the gravity of the country’s security situation, especially in the North-West and North-East, noting that banditry, kidnappings and insurgent violence remain severe threats. He urged security agencies to intensify operations, deploy intelligence resources, and coordinate more effectively to secure the safe
