Despite her suspension, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has continued her outreach, distributing food supplies to her constituents in Kogi Central to ease the burden of high food prices during Ramadan.
At a distribution event in Okehi Local Government, her representative emphasized that her suspension does not erase her mandate as an elected senator. “Senator Natasha has performed tremendously within just one year in office,” he stated.
The relief package included 1,200 bags of beans and millet, covering all 57 wards in the district. Religious groups, market women, and political supporters were among the beneficiaries.
Former lawmaker Abdulrahman Badamasiyu, who oversaw the event, reassured constituents that Akpoti-Uduaghan’s empowerment initiatives would continue. He also announced upcoming training programs to help community members become self-employed.
