TINUBU COMMISSIONS MAJOR PROJECTS IN KADUNA ON SECOND LEG OF WORKING TOUR

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Kaduna State on Thursday June 19th as part of his three-state working tour, commissioning critical infrastructure and unveiling strategic social investments aimed at economic revitalization and public welfare.
Touching down at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Mando shortly after 1:00 p.m., Tinubu was received by a high-powered delegation that included House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna. A military parade was held in his honour before he proceeded to commission several projects.
The President unveiled a 300-bed Specialist Hospital in Millennium City, a newly constructed Institute of Skill Acquisition and Development in Riga Chukun, and a fleet of 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses to support green intra-city transport. A civic reception was held at Murtala Square, attended by governors from 10 other states and traditional rulers, including the Emir of Zazzau.
Security was ramped up across Kaduna metropolis, with traffic diversions enforced on key routes to facilitate the presidential motorcade. The Kaduna visit had been rescheduled from Wednesday due to Tinubu’s emergency trip to Benue earlier in the week, where he met with victims of communal attacks that killed nearly 200 people.
The President is expected to proceed to Nasarawa State for the final leg of his regional tour in the coming days.
