As the 2027 election season gains momentum, Professor Engineer Sani Muhammad Haruna, a governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, unveiled a large campaign billboard in the Kan-korafi neighborhood near the palace of the Emir of Keffi. The billboard was erected by a supporter, Maryam Zakari, also known as Hajiya Tani.
During the unveiling ceremony, Prof. Haruna expressed deep gratitude to Hajiya Maryam and the local community, describing their support as a confidence booster in his quest for the governorship. He pledged that, if elected, his administration would amplify development efforts across sectors, building upon the legacy of the incumbent governor, Abdullahi Sule.
He affirmed that the billboard is not merely a campaign symbol but a representation of hope and renewed commitment to service. “This gesture strengthens my resolve to support humanity and deliver equitable development to all parts of Nasarawa,” he said. The aspirant further expressed confidence in his prospects, citing strong grassroots backing and alignment with APC’s infrastructural and social welfare record in the state.
Supporters present at the event praised Maryam Zakari for her bold demonstration of confidence, urging more community participation in political mobilization. Local musicians and praise singers added color to the event, which combined political messaging with cultural displays.
