Governor Umo Eno has expressed satisfaction with the progress of work at the Ibom International Hotel Project, a 14-storey hospitality facility located along the Uyo Shopping City corridor.
Speaking during an inspection tour, the Governor lauded the RATCON Construction Company for maintaining high standards but urged them to adhere strictly to the project’s completion timeline.
“Sometimes fixing something abandoned is more difficult than starting afresh,” the Governor noted. “But the level of work done here is commendable. We must ensure it is delivered on schedule.”
The project, expected to feature 200 luxury rooms, conference halls, and world-class amenities, is designed to boost Akwa Ibom’s status as a tourism and investment hub.
The contractor, Engr. Samer Samara, assured that the project would be completed and commissioned on time.
