TINUBU APPOINTS NEW CONTROLLER‑GENERAL OF FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE

President Bola Tinubu has approved the promotion of Deputy Controller-General Olumode Samuel Adeyemi to head the Federal Fire Service, effective August 14, 2025. The appointment was confirmed by the CDCFIB under the outgoing Controller-General Engr. Abdulganiyu Jaji Olola, who retires on August 13 .
Mr. Adeyemi, a seasoned officer with extensive training and membership in multiple professional bodies—including ANAN, Institute of Corporate Administration, and Chartered Institute of Treasury Management—has served in various leadership roles in the fire service. The board expressed confidence his leadership will guide the service into a new era of efficiency and professionalism.
