Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has dismissed two political aides for attending the recent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) convention in Ibadan, Oyo State, contrary to his instructions.
The Secretary to the State Government, Enobong Uwah, confirmed the sack in a statement, framing it as part of a broader restructuring to strengthen the Renewed Hope and ARISE Agenda.
However, sources indicate the aides were removed primarily due to their presence at the convention, with photos of them at the event circulating on social media shortly after the announcement.
